After CentOS had announced the discontinuation of CentOS 8 with a final support date of December 31, 2021, companies and groups such as CloudLinux have announced their own ongoing support of CentOS 8. CloudLinux will not only provide continuing support of their version of CloudLinux 8 based CentOS 8, but will also provide binary compatible updates to CentOS 8 through 2029. Today, cPanel has finally released support for CentOS 8 with cPanel/WHM (version 94).
