CNET (cnet.com / download.com), aka CBS Interactive, a popular repository for free, shareware, and trial software, is now an adware/spyware site. They now wrap the legitimate programs with their own malware installer. From now on it’s best to avoid them. Hopefully software developers will quickly learn of this and stop using them.
